Description

Common responses to the book of Revelation throughout history have been “It’s too hard for me to understand!” or “It’s just a depressing book about doom and gloom.” In this course, you will explore the depth, beauty, and application of this early first-century book. Discover its literary characteristics, its original audience’s unique circumstances and its author’s purpose in writing to them. You will also explore how we can know that the book was meant to be understood by its readers so you can arrive at the heart of the book’s message and discover its application for your life today.

Reviews

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this course. I had no idea that it was a book of worship, hope, and a call to obey. That’s not how I ever approached Revelation nor was I ever taught to focus on it that way. One thing I appreciate about this lesson was the ease of accessibility of the material. I literally pressed play and said to myself “brace yourself.” But I was pleasantly surprised at the gentle approach of this lecture. I could say more, but I will conclude that I think those who dread reading Revelation will likely gain newfound enjoyment by reading it with the different focus the lecturer suggests. Thank you for the offering.
